Your Role:

We are seeking a Senior-level Back-End Architect to define and govern backend architecture across multiple products and platforms. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to make long-term architectural decisions aligned with business strategy.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

Own backend architecture vision and roadmap across teams and domains
Design large-scale distributed systems using PHP, Node.js, and Java
Drive architectural decisions for microservices, event-driven systems, and data platforms
Lead complex system refactoring and legacy modernization initiatives
Define non-functional requirements (scalability, resilience, performance, security)
Act as final technical authority in architecture and design reviews
Mentor Senior Engineers and influence engineering culture
Partner with product and business leaders on strategic initiatives
Ensure architectural consistency and governance across teams

Who You Are:

Must-Have:

10+ years of backend engineering experience with 3–5+ years in an architecture role
Proven experience designing enterprise-scale, high-traffic systems
Deep expertise in PHP, Node.js, and Java ecosystems
Strong background in distributed systems and fault tolerance
Experience leading cross-team technical initiatives
Excellent communication skills
Strong understanding and practical application of architectural patterns

Preferred:

Experience defining platform-wide standards and governance models
Cloud-native architecture experience
Experience with Kafka, Pub/Sub, or large-scale messaging systems
Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design and Clean Architecture
