Your role:

We are looking for a Jira Administrator with strong scripting and automation experience to manage and enhance our Jira and Confluence environments. The role focuses on hands-on administration, automation, and integrations that streamline processes and reduce manual work across teams.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

Jira & Confluence Administration

• Configure and maintain Jira Cloud and Confluence (workflows, schemes, permissions, custom fields, spaces).
• Manage users and access rights, ensuring security, governance, and consistency.
• Apply and maintain Jira/Confluence best practices.
• Troubleshoot configuration and platform issues.

Automation & Scripting

• Develop and maintain automations using Groovy, Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell.
• Build and support ScriptRunner components (listeners, behaviours, validators, post-functions, scheduled jobs).
• Optimize automation logic for performance and reliability.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes.

Integrations & APIs

• Build and support integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and authentication mechanisms.
• Work with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, MS Teams) for cross-tool automation.
• Support end-to-end workflow automation across systems.

Collaboration & Documentation

• Gather requirements and translate them into Jira configurations or automation solutions.
• Document configurations, scripts, and integrations.
• Promote best practices in Jira administration and automation.

Who You Are:

• 4+ years of experience administering Jira and Confluence (Cloud preferred).
• Strong experience with Groovy, Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with complex workflows, automation rules, and ScriptRunner.
• Experience working with REST APIs and integrations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
