iGaming technology supplier Delasport has been cleared to operate in Alberta after obtaining two supplier registrations from Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC), marking its second regulated Canadian market.
The company holds registrations as an iGaming Goods or Services Supplier - Platform Provider and as a Critical Gaming Systems Supplier. Together they let Delasport supply its Player Account Management platform, proprietary Sportsbook and Casino Aggregation product to operators in the province, where legal online gaming went live on 13 July 2026.
Alberta becomes Delasport’s second Canadian foothold. In Ontario, its technology and Managed Services underpin several licensed brands, among them TitanPlay, Maverick Games and Betnova.
The supplier points to a recent compliance milestone as evidence of its readiness: TitanPlay passed RG Check Accreditation with the Responsible Gambling Council at the first attempt, recording a very high overall score. Delasport’s platform has also been connected to Alberta’s Central Self-Exclusion system and configured for the automatic daily, weekly and monthly reporting the AGLC requires.
The timing reflects a fast-growing Canadian sector. Ontario’s regulated market took CA$82.7 billion in wagers and produced CA$3.2 billion in gross gaming revenue in fiscal 2024-25, per iGaming Ontario, while Alberta’s government believes roughly 70% of local play still runs through unregulated channels - a gap H2 Gambling Capital expects the new market to convert into around CA$1.2 billion of first-year gross gaming revenue.
“Our success in Ontario has demonstrated that we have the technology, expertise and operational capabilities to help operators succeed in highly regulated Canadian markets,” said Filippo Ferri, Chief Compliance Officer at Delasport. “We’re ready to support both existing and new partners as they enter Alberta.”
